In 2004, Jim Malone began clearing land on twelve wooded acres in Catskill, NY.  Two years later, he had built a log home and begun a love affair with woodworking, craftsmanship and design.  It was here at Little Big North that he brought together elements of rustic and modern design, which would soon be reflected in his two main furniture lines for CounterEvolution: the Modern Rustic and Industrial Green.

Little Big North now has four bedrooms and two full baths and is a peaceful, country oasis, tastefully decorated and furnished with a generous amount of CounterEv tables, benches and chairs.  The home is available for short term rentals of weekends, weeks and months and has been enjoyed since 2006 by families, nature lovers, skiiers, hikers and countless others who want to relax and enjoy a tranquil getaway at an authentic log home.
